  • Loft Hatches With Integral Ladders: These combine a loft hatch with an integrated ladder, offering a space-saving solution that allows quick and easy access to lofts.

Available In All Sizes To Suit: All loft hatches and ladders are available in a variety of sizes to suit different ceiling heights and loft openings, ensuring you can find the right fit for your project.

These products provide convenient, safe, and practical solutions for accessing loft spaces, whether for regular use or occasional storage.

Loft Hatches

  • Standard Loft Hatches: Simple, easy-to-install hatches that provide access to the loft, designed for everyday use.

  • Fire Rated Loft Hatches: These hatches offer added fire protection, helping to comply with building regulations in areas where fire safety is a priority.

Roofing Timber & Felts

Roofing Timber

  • Structural Timber: Carcassing timber is commonly used for roof structures, providing support for the roof covering. This timber includes joists, rafters, and battens, all treated to resist moisture and decay.

  • Roof Battens: Timber battens are used to support roof tiles or slates, creating a base for securing the roofing material. They also allow for airflow beneath the roofing materials to prevent moisture buildup.

  • Treated Timber: Roofing timber is often pressure-treated to withstand the harsh outdoor conditions, ensuring longevity and resistance to rot, fungi, and insect attacks.

Roof Felts

  • Breathable Roof Felts: These felts allow moisture and condensation to escape from the roof space while preventing water from entering, helping to protect the timber structure and insulation.

  • Non-Breathable Roof Felts: Typically used in traditional roofing systems, these felts provide a waterproof barrier but require adequate ventilation to prevent condensation buildup in the roof space.

  • Torch-On Felts: These felts are applied using heat (often with a blowtorch) and are commonly used in flat roofing systems due to their durability and resistance to water.

  • Self-Adhesive Roof Felts: Easy to install, these felts offer a convenient waterproofing solution for smaller roof areas, such as garden sheds or outbuildings.

Both roofing timber and felts play crucial roles in ensuring that the roof remains strong, durable, and weather-resistant, protecting the building and enhancing the roof’s longevity.

Roof Vents, Soffit & Facia

Soffit Vent Systems:

  • These systems are installed in the underside of the roof eaves, allowing air to flow into the roof space, which helps prevent condensation and moisture buildup, essential for roof longevity.

Over Fascia Ventilation Systems:

  • Positioned over the fascia boards, these systems provide discreet yet effective roof ventilation, particularly in areas where traditional soffit vents cannot be used.

Corbel Vents:

  • Corbel vents are used for ventilating roofs with traditional corbelled brick eaves, allowing air to enter the roof space without compromising the aesthetics of traditional construction.

Eaves Vent Rolls & Packs:

  • These are continuous rolls or individual vent packs placed at the eaves, ensuring consistent airflow between the roof space and outside. Eaves vent rolls are easy to install and provide efficient ventilation for various roof types.

Push-in Soffit Vents:

  • These are simple to install and can be pushed directly into the soffit boards, offering a quick and effective way to increase airflow to prevent condensation under the roof.

Dry Ridge Fixing Kits:

  • These kits are used to secure ridge tiles without mortar, allowing for easier installation and providing ventilation along the ridge of the roof. Dry ridge systems offer a more durable and maintenance-free solution compared to traditional methods.

Dry Ridge Verge Systems:

  • Dry verge systems provide a neat and secure finish to the edges of tiled roofs, preventing wind uplift and water ingress. They also eliminate the need for mortar, making installation simpler and more reliable.

These roof vent, soffit, and fascia products ensure that roofs are adequately ventilated and protected, helping to extend the life of the roof by preventing condensation, rot, and other moisture-related issues.

Loft Insulation

Loft Insulation plays a crucial role in maintaining energy efficiency and regulating temperature in buildings by reducing heat loss through the roof. Here’s an overview of the key types of insulation available:

Cavity Sizes – 50, 75, 100, 125 & 150mm:

  • Insulation products are available in various thicknesses to fit different cavity sizes, ensuring optimal thermal performance for different building requirements.

Cavity Roll & Slabs:

  • Cavity Roll: This type of insulation comes in large rolls that can be easily cut to fit loft spaces. It’s suitable for laying between joists and offers flexibility for different roof shapes and sizes.

  • Slabs: Rigid insulation slabs are ideal for areas where a more stable, fixed solution is needed. These are often used in wall cavities or for insulating loft conversions.

Acoustic Insulation:

  • Acoustic insulation is designed to reduce sound transmission between rooms or floors, making it ideal for loft conversions or in buildings where soundproofing is important.

Party Wall Insulation:

  • Specifically designed for party walls (walls shared between two properties), this insulation helps improve both thermal and acoustic performance, reducing heat loss and noise transmission between properties.

Compression Packed for Easy Handling:

  • Many insulation products are compression-packed, making them easier to transport, store, and handle on-site. This allows for quicker installation and reduces waste space during delivery and storage.

These loft insulation products ensure both energy efficiency and soundproofing, making homes more comfortable and reducing energy costs.
